So many memories I have of Donnie. I actually feel blessed to have been able to see him as I passed by the corner a couple weeks back. We got to talking about how lucky we were as kids to grow up in such a great neighborhood. And laughed at all the fun we had playing "kick the can", "manhunt" , the forts we built in the woods and the labor day picnics. Sending lots of love and prayers to Irene and Don.

Don And Irene I am so sorry for the Loss of your son Don> I will surely miss having conversations with him. I remember the very 1st day we met when Grandma Siver started babysitting him on Central Ave. He was a handful but he did grow up and became the most loving man u could ever ask for.

I have known Don for many years! Spent lots of time at his house when we were growing up. We both had a big matchbox collection. We had our picture in the matchbox magazine ( wish I could find it) . We helped his Dad build a tree fort in his backyard and spent lots of time chatting with his Mom. He will be missed. RIP my friend until we meet again

Mr. and Mrs. Stannard, we are so extremely sorry for the loss of your son. You two raised a very kind gentleman. We've talked to him several times, as we live just down the street from you. Our prayers for you both are that you are comforted and find peace with Our Heavenly Father, as Donnie enters the gates of heaven. God's blessings for you both.
Love, Prayers and Sincere Condolences ...

To Don's parents......Don used to visit me almost everyday for ice cream, I owned the Ice Cream Station next to the Flower shop. We always had such great conversations.....he would tell me about the trains, his love of fishing and kayaking . He had a heart of gold, and would help anyone in need. I am glad I got to know him . I'm so very sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Wendy Penny.

Don and Irene, we were so shocked to hear about this terrible accident and learn of Donnie's passing. I had many good laughs with Donnie and will always remember him fondly. It was always great randomly running into him and reminiscing about old times. Donnie was a gentle soul, had a sincere smile, and always had time to talk. May you rest now in God's loving arms Donnie.
