Obituary of John F. Durajack

LITTLE FALLS – Mr. John F. Durajack, age 73, a longtime resident of Garden Street, in Little Falls, passed away peacefully, at Albany Medical Center. On the morning of September 29th, 2020, John left us to be reunited with his mother and other loved ones. He will be missed by his friends and he leaves several cousins in Poland. He was born February 18,1947, in Germany, a son of the late Frank and Henryka (Beer) Durajack. The family moved to Little Falls in 1952. Jack, as he was fondly remembered, worked part-time, at the Little Falls Hospital in the kitchen area. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, in Little Falls and was blessed with his church family, including Pastor Joseph Famulare, Susan Lindberg and Kathy Owens. He was predeceased by his father, Frank; and his mother and stepfather, Henryka and Timofei Federenko. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at 10:00 AM, at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, Little Falls, New York, with Pastor Joseph Famulare, officiating. Internment will take place in Church Street Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest next to his mother. Although there are no formal calling hours, relatives and friends are also invited to attend the funeral service and the interment service to follow.
