DeDe's heart was as beautiful as she was. Her kindness and concern for others was her gift, which she gave so freely. Our friendship has been a blessing in my life and one I will treasure for the rest of my days. Thank you DeDe for the joy, happiness, laughter and love.

So Very, Very Sorry For The Passing Of Diedre. I Knew Her From The GPO Branch In Dolgeville, New York. She Was A Great Asset There For All Customers. She Was Taken Way To Early And Also Too Young. Again I Am Very Sorry. (Bruce T. Lyon) >Mr.Mayor<

I am so very sorry to hear about Dede. She became a close friend when I joined GPO. We had a standing joke that with the opening of my account I expected a toaster from GPO. Didn't Dede spend her own money to get a toaster? We compared notes on our health problems every week and I went to Ilion several times (with the scrubbers I made) to see her. I will miss her so much. My deepest sympathy to Dan and her family.

I’m so sorry to hear this. She was such a genuine and wonderful lady. Always pleasant and personable. From day 1 at GPO she made me feel like a friend. There aren’t many as kind as her. My heart hurts for her family and friends. She will be missed.

Goodness, I am so sorry to read this. Deedee, as I knew her from GPO when she was in Dolgeville was always, always, a caring, kind, interested in you gal! That is something that is not learned, I knew it was who she was. I was so sad when she left the Dolgeville branch. My sincere sympathy to all of you and hold on to your wonderful memories. Her earthly journey is done but, now I know her beautiful spirit is still with her.

Nonnie (as she would call herself) was radiant inside and out. Her and my mother who was a GPO member, shared the role of being "nonnie" and clicked instantly. My son made my moms cell phone voicemail for her saying, "this is nonnies phone, leave a message ect.." and the rest was history. I remember answering my mother's phone once and hearing Dee Dee's voice saying, "hello, nonnie?!" When she had to reach my mom regarding a banking matter. Whenever I would see her at the bank, she'd always approach me on a personal level, always asking how things were, especially how my mom was as they both faced breast cancer. Her personality was one of a kind and my heart is absolutely broken to see her obituary today. Although she was battling, you'd never know it when you would see her because her beauty would shine from the inside out. She will be missed by many, that I'm sure of. My mom and I only knew her from her place of employment and she had such a significant impact on us. I can only imagine what an impact she had on others. Rest in sweet peace nonnie.
