Suzie and I wish to send our sincere condolences to the Smith family for the recent passing of Marty. Although time and life may move us apart, Marty had the distinct personality that made you feel neither was evident. Seeing Marty was fun! He will be forever in our hearts and will be sorely missed.

From Mick Werenczak ; so sorry to hear of Marty's passing ...... he was a true friend and even though we hadn't been together the past years we did play alot of ball (softball , basketball ) in our earlier days and Marty was one of the original "Holt Bros." and we enjoyed quite a few cold ones together ...... I know Marty was a die hard Yankee fan and old Yankee's never die they just go to the bullpen in the sky .......

It is with great sadness that I am reading of Marty’s passing. Though we haven’t seen each other in many years we always reminisced about the great times we had playing softball together throughout the Valley and the fun and laughter that ensued after the games. Thanks for the memories Marty, Rest In Peace my friend. My condolences to Joan, and Marty’s family and friends. Deepest sympathy Doug Clapper
