Obituary of Agnes Nakoneczny

Mrs. Agnes Nakoneczny, age 81, of 269 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, beloved wife of Michael Nakoneczny, passed away on Monday morning, September 30, 2002, at Little Falls Hospital surrounded by her beloved family. Mrs. Nakoneczny was born on November 14, 1920, in Little Falls, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Zawtocki) Kolinski. She was a lifelong Little Falls resident. On May 7, 1977, Agnes was united in marriage to Michael Nakoneczny in Herkimer. She was last employed as a tea inspector for Salada Foods, Inc. for many years. She retired in 1986 and was a communicant of Holy Family Parish, Little Falls. Mrs. Kankoneczny was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her beloved husband of 25 years, Michael of the home address; two daughters, Debbie Dixon and husband Chuck of LaFayette and Diane Pedone and husband Kenneth of Whitesboro; one brother, Stanley Kolinski and wife Anne of Little Falls; a sister, Lodja Barnes of Texas; and four grandchildren, Lindsey Dixon, Colleen Dixon, Jessica Pedone and A.J. Pedone. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and an in-law, Millie Krenichyn of Herkimer. She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Crossett. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, on Tuesday (this evening), October 1, from 5-8 p.m. The funeral will commence on Wednesday morning, October 2, at 8:30 a.m. from the chapel of the funeral home where prayer will be offered and at 9 a.m. from the Holy Family Parish, corner of East Main and John streets, Little Falls, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Charles R. Celeste, pastor. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer.
