Obituary of Eileen White

Eileen F. White, 85, formerly of Youkers Bush Road, St. Johnsville, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2002, at the Palatine Nursing Home. She was born on January 29, 1917, in Canada, the daughter of the late Emmett and Lillian Pennell. Eileen was educated in Canada and lived in Vermont before moving to St. Johnsville. Eileen was last employed as a seamstress for the former Corso Dress Factory in St. Johnsville. Ms. White was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include her extended family, James and Ruth Smith of St. Johnsville; and their children, Keith Smith and wife Pat, Carol Warn and husband Gary, Gail Kane and husband Kevin and Roger Smith and friend Marylou. She was predeceased by her companion of 50 years, Henry F. Smith, who died on April 7, 2002. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2002, at 11 a.m. from the Smith-Woody and Enea Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, with Rev. Michael Yezierski, pastor of the St. Johnsville United Methodist Church, officiating. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the services.
