Obituary of Sean Elliott Urich

Little Falls – Mr. Sean Elliott Urich 26, of Bronner Road, Town of Manheim passed away on Thursday December 3, 2015 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a courageous battle with Cancer. There was a tremendous amount of support from the doctors and nurses in the ICU (8-1600). The family is also grateful for the assistance of the Hope Lodge in Rochester. He was born on May 16, 1989 in Little Falls, the son of Ronald and Lisa (Lamanna) Urich and was a graduate of Little Falls High School, Class of 2008. He went on to attend Mohawk Valley Community College Truck Driving School in Rome, NY. He was employed with Ron Allen Trucking of Canajoharie and held numerous other truck driving positions along the way. While in high school Sean was a wrestler and he worked at Feldmeier Equipment Summer Program at a young age which he enjoyed. He loved to cook, bake, and BBQ, and did it for school, weddings and parties. His hobbies were many, inclusive to 4-wheeling, truck pulls, fishing, hunting and hanging out with his large circle of family and friends. Through the years, Sean participated as a Boy Scout and Eagle Scout, and just loved antique cars and even won many awards at local car shows. He even spent time as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. When we think of Sean we remember his great sense of humor and the fact that he was always there to help, no matter what time it may have been. His favorite football team was the Chicago Bears. The family and friends will always remember how Sean was selfless and put others people’s needs before his own. A heartfelt THANK YOU to Team Sean. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his parents, Ron and Lisa, and his paternal grandparents, Delcia and Fred T. “Fritz” Urich, and was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Lawrence J. and Mary A. Lamanna. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, and cousins, Ron and Tricia Lamanna and their children, Jessica, Megan, and Joshua, Darlene Suits and Gerald Gruby and children Richard and Nicholas and their father Richard Suits, his godfather John Audycki whose time spent with Sean was so dearly enjoyed and cherished, his godmother, Linda Fake, and many friends who are appreciated for their presence from the very beginning. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Harry J. & Kevin E. Enea of the Enea Family Funeral Home 24 W. Monroe Street Little Falls, NY (315) 823-2424. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 8, 2015. His funeral service will commence on Wednesday December 9, 2015 at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home and at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, corner of John /E. Main St., Little Falls.
