Obituary of Ralph F. Servidone

Ralph F. Servidone 1943-2015 Little Falls: Ralph F. Servidone, 72, a long time Little Falls area resident and beloved husband of Marilynne (Perkins) Servidone, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at his home. Born on October 19, 1943 in Little Falls, Ralph was the son of the late Chauncey and Margaret (Cramer) Servidone. Raised and educated locally he attended Dolgeville Schools and was a graduate of the Class of 1962. On July 24, 1989 he was united in marriage to the former Marilynne E. Perkins, sharing a union of 26 years. Ralph worked as a bus driver for the Fort Plain School District and HARC, was once employed as a custodian at St. Mary’s Academy, Little Falls and was a truck driver for various companies. He also worked at one time for Browns Feed, Frankfort. In his spare time he enjoyed camping at the KOA Campgrounds in Middleville and Pulaski. Ralph is survived by his wife, Marilynne; his children, Joseph Servidone and wife Schelli of Herkimer, Jean Rockwell and husband Scott of Little Falls, Robert Servidone and wife Liz of Little Falls, Sarah Cole and husband David of Ilion, Erik Servidone and Tina of Fall River, WI, Deborah Kichakov and husband Vlad of Herkimer, Jessica Servidone and her significant other, Dean of Newport, Robert Balderston of Salisbury Center and Thomas Balderston and wife Jill of Salisbury Center. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Zachary, Haley, Bobby, Steven, Clayton, D.J., Aaron, Dana, Jacob, Corbin, Anthony, Paige, Quintin, Brooklyn, Christin and Ashely; several great grandchildren; 3 childhood playmates, Kathy Ellis, Donna Ellis, and Donna Bissett; in-laws, cousins, and a special canine friend, Lady. The family would like to acknowledge the staff at Herkimer Oncology, Dr. Canary, Dr. Methuku, Dr. Anderson, Dr. Amy Grace and Dr. Peter VandeRiet for the care and compassion shown to Ralph during his illness. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 4:00-6:00 PM at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe Street, Little Falls, NY (315)823-2424. His funeral service will take place on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Deacon James Bower officiating. Procession will then follow to Salisbury Rural Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. Those wishing to make a donation in Ralph’s memory may consider the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. The family is being cared for and guided by Harry J. and Kevin E. Enea, Funeral Directors.
