Obituary of Linda R. Fox

Middleville: Linda R. Fox, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born on July 30, 1941 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Frederick and Alice (Hepburn) DeWolfe. She grew up in Gansevoort, NY and graduated from South Glens Falls High School. She continued her education at Ithaca College and graduated from the School of Music with a minor in vocal music. On August 3, 1968 she was married to her devoted husband and best friend, Craig R. Fox. Linda worked as a music teacher for the Little Falls School District. She was involved as an Ombudsman in Folts Home until her illness prevented her from continuing her volunteer service. She loved making cards and crafting and at an earlier time she had her own business as a dog groomer and trainer. Linda was a lover of the arts and very proud of her daughters who continued on with her tradition of singing, dancing and theater. She was a choral director in numerous churches and was a member of the choir at the Oak Ridge Free Methodist Church of Herkimer. She is survived by her beloved husband, Craig; her daughters, Nicole and Noelle; her sons-in-law, Michael and John; grandsons, Jackson, Devin and Luca and her granddaughter, “The Princess”, Aria. She touched so many lives and was loved by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will take place with memorial calling hours on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe Street, Little Falls, NY (315)823-2424.
