Obituary of Elizabeth A. Starring

LITTLE FALLS – Mrs. Elizabeth A. Starring, a lifelong resident of Little Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2016 at Alpine Nursing & Rehabilitation with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 1, 1925 in Little Falls, daughter of the late Thomas and Julia (Kane) Weston. She attended St. Mary’s Academy and Little Falls schools. She was united in marriage to Richard F. Starring on June 20, 1953 at St. Mary’s Church. Mr. Starring passed away June 2, 2000. She was employed by Hanson and Salada in her early and later years, lastly cafeteria work at Salada Tea. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish. Elizabeth lived a wonderful life, and her memory will live on within in the hearts of her family forever. She is survived by her children, Richard “Dick” Starring and wife Bona of Little Falls, Jeffrey “Jeff” Starring and his wife Ann Marie of Van Hornesville, Gregg Starring and his wife Debora of Palatine Bridge, Robert “Bob” Starring and his wife Gail of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Scott T. Starring and his spouse Kelly Pecorello of Little Falls, her grandchildren, Michael Pawelek and his wife Brittany, Mary Starring and her significant other Jim Dieffenbacher, Bobbi Starring, Andrew Starring, Gregg Starring, Jr., and his significant other Tiffany Baldwin, Jonathan Starring and his wife Sarah, Garret Starring and his significant other Tae Neve, Sarah Starring, Jennie Starring, Scott T. Starring, Jr. and his significant other Becky Wilcox, Shawn Starring and his significant other Danielle Gordon, and Rochelle Starring and her significant other Robin Villafana, a sister – in – law, Elizabeth Staring, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Frederick Weston. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, and 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Parish, corner of East Main & John Streets, Little Falls, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Terence Healy, Pastor, assisted by Deacon James Bower. There will be a spring interment, graveside service on Friday May 6th at 11:30 AM at Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills. There are no public calling hours. Those wishing to remember Elizabeth in a special way are asked to consider the Little Falls Fire Department.
