Obituary of Glendon Edgar, Jr.

AUBURN- Mr. Glendon E. “Glen” Edgar. Jr., age 73, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2016, with his loving and eternal companion Diane Kalet and her family by his side. Born on September 21, 1943 in Cortland, NY, Glen was the son of the late Glendon and Pauline (Rice) Edgar. He was educated through the Cortland school district. In 1964, Glen enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving his country with great pride for three years. He worked in the maintenance field for several years, most recently working in the Kalet’s Adult Home in Syracuse. Glen was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, riding the canan and putting puzzles together. Glen adored and loved his canine companions, Princess and Nugget, of which they never left his side. Surviving is his loving companion of ten years, Diane Kalet and her children; one son, Theodore Edgar and his companion, Kristy Cisneros of Auburn; three daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa (David) March of Marathon, Tammy (David, Jr.) Hartwick of Cortland, and Sue (Ryan) Dann of Freeville. He also leaves several grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of which he had a deep love for. Glen is predeceased by his wife Eva Edgar, who passed away in 2003, his son Glendon E. Edgar, III, one brother Barry Wayne Edgar, and Sophia Sweet, whom Glen shared a close relationship with. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Glen's visitation on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, from 1:00 PM-3:00PM at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe Street, Little Falls, NY (315)823-2424. Glen’s funeral service will commence at the conclusion of visitation, beginning at 3:00 PM with David and Ann Sweet officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Harry J. and Kevin E.
