My condolences to the Franchi famly. Gino was one of the kindest people I knew growing up on the Southside. Blessed with a smile and sense of humor he was liked by everyone and he never changed each time I saw him when I came back to visit LF each summer. Sauro and I were childhood playmates and classmates, and Gino and Anna were a little older and wiser. He is a kind soul who will be welcomed in heaven and will catch up with all the other Southside family and friends who have gone ahead of us. Let us remember the good times we shared together and know he is at peace. Gary T. Staffo

Sauro and Lorenzo and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Gino's passing. I have fond memories of when I work at various church fairs when Gino would come up to the booth and pay with $ 2 Bills.
He always had a bunch on him and he enjoyed the smiles it put on peoples faces when he handed them those bills.
You are all in my prayers.

To the extended Franchi family: I am so sorry to learn of Gino's passing. Growing up on the South Side I remember Gino as always a friendly, kind, and gentle person who smiled easily. Years later when I returned to visit, I remember him the same way. Just a real nice person who was friendly to everyone. He will be missed by those who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

We are sorry for the lost love of Gino. Someone that was in your life that meant and still means so much to you. Just know that in the Lord there is peace and when you are called home you are at peace, and they now look over you better than they could in life.

Gino was a friend, neighbor , more like a brother. He taught me how to hunt. He was there for advice and guidance. I will never forget after I joined the navy and ready to leave for boot camp he told me to keep my mouth shut and blend in with the crowd. I was 6'3" 245lbs did not blend in well but the advice was great anyway and it did work at some things. Gino was always looking out for the neighborhood . I will miss him greatly.
