I think back to the beautiful memories of us growing up together, playing jump rope, playing beauty parlor, bouncing the ball to hit the penny, giggling over the silliest things. The summers at the summer house right in my back yard. Simple times, simple pleasures. Just being there for each other was enough. But we grew up and married, me to Geppy and you to Vince. Together you and Vince set up home up state. Geppy and I set up home down state. We were all so happy that Vince was your partner and soul mate. A beautiful union of two beautiful people. We didn't get to visit much, but we spoke on the phone. Telephone "Sisters" we called each other. I thank you for that and for so much more. You will always be remembered as such a special person for all your compassion, love, laughter and gentle nature to all...
You have a new "life" now in heaven with your Beloved Vince, your loving and caring parents, Ann and Mike, (Auntie and Uncle Mike to me and Geppy), Grandma and Grandpa and the precious pets that you lovingly gave home to plus all that are welcoming you to a beautiful heaven.
Forever in our hearts with bunches of love, Marilyn, Geppy and family

Dear sister in law Kathy will always be remembered as a gentle soul who never had a bad thought or word for anyone. She was a sweet lady and we spent many hours talking and laughing about so many things on her porch in Little Falls when we visited..how she loved sitting on that porch and seeing all her neighbors.
We have many fond memories of "The Camp" which she and Vince loved. Rest in peace sweet Kathy and say hello to Vince & Mom & Dad for us, we know you will all be together now. ❤️❤️

I forgot to mention how much Aunt Kathy loved her dog SamSam and Is now reunited with her playful dog too in heaven, which is great!! Whenever I hear the song, "How much is that doggie in the window", I'll think of you singing it, Uncle Vince giggling & getting a kick out of you and Sammy barking (singing) along with you!! Uncle Bruce loved that too! XOxO

The gentlest of souls, kindness of hearts, generous of love and abundance of laughter-this is how we remember our Aunt kathy. You have left us with the most loving memories of great times spent together. Our Labor Day weekends growing up through our childhood spent at the Winsumcamp were some of the best family times! You and Uncle Vince enjoyed hosting those big gatherings at the lake! It's comforting knowing you are now reunited with your honey Uncle Vince, and your baby dog Sammy, along with Grandma and Grandpa. We are happy to know how you loved your Ilion family that they took such good care of you in your final years. It's so comforting knowing you lived your life exactly the way you wanted to, surrounded by those who loved and cared for you through your last day. The miles were far between us, but whenever we spoke and heard that sweet loving voice on the other end we felt a warm comfort that kept us close at heart. God bless you in your final resting place, we love you! xoxo

Kathy DeSimone was my Aunt. Aunt Kathy was a very loving, warm sweet, kind and gentle lady. She was easy to talk to and loved telling us stories of how she met the love of her life, Uncle Vince. She told us many other stories of her life which started out in the big city of New York and took her later to the country upstate in Little Falls, and finally in Ilion. She loved it all. She appreciated everything. She loved her family and loved ones deeply. Aunt Kathy & Uncle Vince gave us wonderful, fun, family memories at their country home, WinsumCamp. We spent many summers together there enjoying togetherness at the lake, nature and lots of love great grilled steaks and good times. I am grateful for those memories. I loved listening to her stories of volunteering at the hospital which encouraged me to volunteer :) we also shared a love of Angel Stories and I sent her many books on the subject that I know she enjoyed reading in healthier days.
Rest In Peace dear Aunt Kathy, hoping you guide me from Heaven..until we meet again. Love you!!
